Position Information
Dr. Joseph Lynch, in Bond Life Sciences Center, is offering a paid undergraduate position for a plant research assistant. The Lynch lab will provide training in a variety of molecular, biochemical, and analytical techniques to study plant metabolism. This research assistant will work directly with a graduate student on a USDA-funded project to better understand amino acid metabolism in tomatoe plants, with the potential to assist with other projects and continue work into the academic year.

Preferred Qualifications
-Successful completion of General Genetics, or equivalent
-Successful completion of Cell Biology, or equivalent
-Experience with aseptic technique
-Experience with PCR

On-the-job training will be provided, and both Part-Time and Full-Time options are available starting this summer.
