We are seeking actively engaged and excited undergraduate students to volunteer in our laboratory and join the Tumor Rejection via Immune Activation Laboratory (TRIAL). Our laboratory PI, Jonathan Mitchem, MD, is a colorectal surgeon and focused on treating cancer by using the body's own natural defenses- the immune system.
Duties will involve cell culture, mouse handling, tissue processing, and general lab maintenance including preparation of buffers and base solutions, preparation and sterilization of glassware, and other housekeeping activities.
If you are interested in joining our team, please feel free to send us an email. The more intelligent, hard-working people we get involved, the faster we will reach our goal. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
Enthusiastic, excited to learn new things and techniques, willing to take direction and complete tasks on time. Timely and orderly, interested in research and improving the care of patients with cancer.
GPA 3.0 or greater.
