-Collecting, processing, and measuring of plant material from diverse field and greenhouse experiments
-Data collection/measurements using advanced plant physiology instruments
-Team work environment with opportunities to work on many different types of agricultural experiments with other undergraduates, graduate students and researchers
-General labor maintaining fields and experiments, such as weeding, planting, harvesting, mowing, etc.
-May include both inside lab work and outside field work depending on season and weather.
Potential opportunity for Seniors to do a capstone project.
An interest in Plant Science and Agriculture
Drivers license - In addition to work on campus, some work will be at Bradford Research Center or Horticulture & Agroforestry Research Center (HARC) - must be able to commute to these places.
Organized, responsible, good communicator, dependable, punctual.
Available for at least 4 hour blocks of time, minimum of 10 hours a week.
Be able to sometimes work independently, without supervision.
