Researchers at the University of Missouri’s SCAN lab are currently conducting a study entitled Risk and Protective Factors of Alcohol Use Among College Students that examines risk and protective psychosocial and behavioral factors for alcohol use among college students. During this study, participants complete a battery of questionnaires and a set of computerized laboratory-based tasks/games.
The researchers are looking for a volunteer, part-time student Research Assistant (RA) to assist with data collection for this study. The RA will work closely with Jorge Martins (graduate student) and be involved in data collection, including administration of surveys and behavioral tests. This kind of experience is invaluable for students considering graduate school in Psychology, Neuroscience, Biology, Medicine, or other health professions.
