The MizZzou Sleep Research Lab studies the effects of cognitive behavioral therapy on patients with insomnia. We are looking for motivated undergraduate research assistants who are willing to devote time and effort to our cause! Daily duties vary within the lab, but recurring themes include meeting with study participants and conducting assessments in the sleep lab (e.g., blood pressure/height weight, heart rate variability recording) as well as during neuroimaging procedures (e.g., computerized cognitive testing, thermal/heating stimulus calibration/evaluation), updating and distributing sleep diaries/surveys, processing sleep actiwatch data, data entry (e.g., using Excel, Qualtrics, or SPSS) and working to increase lab efficiency.
Must have strong analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to listen and follow technical directions.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Background in statistics or computers is a bonus but not required.
