MU Connect – Student Assistant

MU Connect

Position Information


The Student Assistant's main objective is to help manage MU Connect and solve problems in day-to-day operations. Knowledge and understanding of navigating a website is not necessary, but highly recommended. Any college major is welcome to apply. Upon acceptance, you will be trained to become familiar with the system.

Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate’s skills include:
Problem Solving o Workers must be able to listen and complete tasks on the back-end of the system, which requires following a set of specific instructions. o Workers must build a familiarity of MU Connect in order to understand and solve complications that may arise.

Data Evaluation o Workers may evaluate and interpret user feedback and data. This entails using formulas and organization to discover results. Applications used may include: - Microsoft Excel - Microsoft Word Communication o MU Connect hosts a variety of motivational and informative workshops, workers may be asked to design marketing promotions, including informative flyers about the system.

Faculty Mentor or Sponsor

Student must work in the summer and will be given the opportunity to increase hours to 20 per week.
