Duties

Several Positions Available:

Field Technicians; full-time summer 2018

Employee will be responsible for collecting and processing water samples, operating water monitoring equipment, driving to monitoring sites, etc. Employee will be working on streams and lakes throughout Missouri. Some overnight stays are likely. As this is outdoor summer work, employee should expect exposure to heat, rain, etc. Employee may be called upon to conduct occasional laboratory work. Pay rate starting at $11/hour.

Laboratory Technicians; full-time summer 2018

Employee will be responsible for conducting analyses on water quality samples in the MU Limnology Laboratory. Employee may be called upon for occasional field days (no overnights). Previous chemistry lab experience desired, but not required. Pay rate starting at $11/hour.

Requirements:
Some heavy lifting (~40lbs)
Valid drivers license
Currently have, or pursuing, a science degree

Database Development Intern; full-time summer 2018

Employee will develop a database for use by the MU Limnology Laboratory. Employee must attend week-long, out of state training sometime during June 2018. Previous database experience preferred. Pay rate starting at $11/hour
Requirements:
Experience with Excel
Ability to travel to and attend week-long, out of state training
