Undergraduate Job Description for Estrogen receptor function lab:
Undergrad needed for biochemistry/nutrition research to understand the role of estrogens and estrogen receptor beta in obesity and mitochondrial function:
Helping to take care of 200 cages of ERKO transgenic mice. Genotyping, PCR analysis and breeding these mice. Assisting with necropsy and tissue isolation. Performing biochemical and mitochondrial function assays. 15-20 hours per week. Hours are flexible.
