C3 Summer Biomedical Informatics Institute
Start your summer off at the University of Missouri at our Summer Biomedical Informatics Institute in Columbia, MO from May 14-25, 2012. This intensive program will provide you with a foundation in bioinformatics and computational biology. You'll benefit by being able to apply the skills and knowledge you acquire to your lab and coursework, making connections with students with similar career interests, working closely with interdisciplinary faculty and staff, and seeing how informataics is being used in labs, centers, and industry.
Undergraduates majoring in an appropriate field (e.g. life sciences, pre-medicine, biomedical engineering) are eligible to apply. Participation in summer research (MU or non-MU) is encouraged but not required. Students must commit to attend the entire institute (no early departures).
Enrollment fee is $30. Housing and all meals are included.
