Christopher Hardin

Christopher Hardin, professor of medical pharmacology and physiology, received his PhD from the University of Cincinnati, and his research program has focused on the role of macromolecular interactions in the cytoplasm and on the role of abnormal metabolism in cell pathophysiology.

Here's what his students had to say about him:

"I have noticed that Professor Hardin has this amazing quality of guiding his students and exposing them to different areas of science. He also has this amazing sense of guidance that lets you feel more confident about yourself."

"Chris has this way of trusting that you have the knowledge to complete the task before you and this trust, I believe, has allowed my laboratory skills as an undergraduate to develop immensely."

"He is very patient and understanding and knows that not everyone thinks the same way and that some people need a different perspective to grasp the same topic."

"Professor Hardin has been more than a mentor to me, he has been my advisor and made the lab a home away from home. He is more like family to me than a boss or a mentor, and the family lab environment is one of the best experiences I have ever had."

"If I ever am a mentor, I can only hope that I will be half as great a mentor as he has been to me."
