The MU Summer Undergraduate Research and Creative Achievements Forum showcases the creative and scholarly activities that undergraduates have been engaged in over the summer. All students engaged in scholarly or creative activity with a faculty mentor are invited to present their work.
Summer 2009 Project Titles Included:
- Reading to a therapy dog: The influence on African American children's motivation to read
- Tailoring the synthesis of activated carbon for battery electrodes
- Schools as an oasis: Academically successful schools in high-risk areas
- Fungus among us: Biotic and abiotic factors influencing the distribution of alpine mycorrhizae

- The life and art of Tennessee Williams and his girl in glass
- Structural steel coatings for Missouri bridges
